Although the doctors friendly and professional, I can't say that about their Rosemont Staff. I had a horrible stomach bug for 4 days at 18 weeks pregnant. I called everyday and was never able to talk to a doctor. The staff constantly put me on hold and told me to drink fluids, even though I couldn't drink or eat anything! Finally on the 4th day, I called again, asking to speak with someone other than a receptionist, I finally was put through with the must disrespectful, rude, unhelpful nurse practitioner who hung up with me because she didn't have time to talk to me. Then treated the same way by their office manager. It's horrible that people like them represent such a nice group of doctors. I would never recommend this practice because of their horrible staff. No one ever deserves to be treated that way, especially a very sick, scared pregnant patient!!!
Can't get an appointment at a reasonable time, even though I am an existing patient. The office staff at the Newtown Square office are really short with you and basically told me that they have NO APPOINTMENTS in the morning or the late afternoon for the next four weeks. Kind of ridiculous. Also, totally impossible to get through on the Rosemont line. The phone is busy for hours. I've never dealt with a Dr's office that was so unavailable.
Was in this practice for both of my pregnancies. All of the doctors are kind, competent, and up to date. The front desk staff and nurses are fantastic as well. I would be surprise by any negative reviews. I am a physician myself and so was a bit particular about choosing a practice -- I was impressed by all of the doctors and would highly recommend them. They took their time during the prepartum visits to go through everything (as I recall, I mostly saw Dr. Isch and she is so patient) and Dr. Burns delivered our baby and was cool & competent - everything went smoothly.
Fantastic experience! I was a new patient and was suppose to see Dr. Craparo, but I got Dr. Sbar instead. She was wonderful! Funny, informative, and she took the time to talk to me and answer my questions. She was also super quick with the exam. The office was very nice, and the girls at the desk were helpful and nice. I highly recommend this practice!!
When I found out I was pregnant with our first in May, I was terrified with the unknown of the pregnancy and delivery. Denise Wilks, the practice's midwife, made our experience amazing! She is hands on and professional, without being stuffy. She was a labor and delivery nurse at Bryn Mawr hospital for years, and now blends modern medicine with being a midwife perfectly. I can not say enough on how much we enjoyed working with her, and will look to use her exclusively for any other pregnancies down the road!
